Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho has been quite talked about in the media and the internet over the past few days as the teenager faced harsh criticism for his performance against Manchester United’s match against Leeds United at Old Trafford on February 9th but he put his critics to bed after scoring against the same opposition and doing a Cristiano Ronaldo celebration.
Garnacho looked out of touch since the first minute and missed a couple of big chances as Man United slipped to a 2-goal deficit inside 50 minutes and was substituted soon after a bad showing. While United managed to make a comeback and draw the game, the Argentine was slammed with criticism by the fans on the internet.

The young boy who is seen as a future star at the Carrington was on the bench for United’s game against the same opposition on February 12th but came on as a substitute as the game was in a deadlock. Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for the Red Devils in the 80th minute with a thumping header.
The Argentine teenager doubled United’s lead after five minutes as he finished a brilliant counter-attacking move before doing a Ronaldo celebration indicating his haters to shut in silence. The celebration has had diverse opinions from fans as he imitated Ronaldo.

We went to Twitter to take a look at how fans reacted to Garnacho’s imitation of Ronaldo:
A fan seemed to be warning Garnacho of not idolizing Cristiano’s attitude as the Portuguese had faced severe criticism after smashing a young fans phone last year before doing a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan attacking Manchester United manager, board, and owners.

We noticed a fan who was seemingly upset with Garnacho dropping a Cristiano Ronaldo celebration after his goal and trolled him for idolizing Cristiano Ronaldo who doesn’t have a World Cup medal. It has to be mentioned here that Garnacho was dropped from Argentina’s World Cup winning squad after being selected in the probables and eventually missed out on a World Cup medal.
They wrote: “That’s why he doesn’t have a WC medal like his idol🤭”
