ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is one of the most fearsome fighters on the planet, just ask his recent opponents.
“The Iron Man” has become a viral sensation over his five-year ONE career so far, with his ultra-aggressive style and in-Circle showmanship making for perfect social media material. Among his 14 victories with the promotion was an epic battle with Australian star Danial Williams, who stepped in on short notice to face the Thai megastar back in 2021.

While “Mini T” provided Rodtang with an enthralling contest, the flyweight Muay Thai king scored a second-round knockdown and ultimately the unanimous decision win at “ONE on TNT I.”
Rodtang Jitmuangnon: An immovable object
Rodtang Jitmuangnon’s former opponent has told what it is like to share the ring with him. In an interview with Fight News Australia, the Aussie broke down what it is that makes Rodtang so great.
“He definitely has a tough chin. He got hit hard but his neck just doesn’t move at all. As you can see from all of his previous fights when he’s taking shots, there’s just no movement in his neck,” he recalled.
“It’s not so much his power, it’s just his accuracy. He lands a lot of shots on the chin and face. His teeps too, they were heavy. I know he teeps a lot, but that was a full shock to the body pushing you back so he stops your momentum going forward. He’s definitely powerful. He just walks forward, you can not push that guy back.”
“So yeah, it was pretty cool to be in there with him. He’s a really good dude as well, I’ve got a lot of respect for Rodtang.”

Williams has since gone on to challenge for both the ONE Flyweight and Strawweight Kickboxing World Titles, while he also gained a spot in the strawweight MMA rankings for a time.
Rodtang, for his part, has continued to defend his flyweight Muay Thai strap, although he is currently sidelined with a hand injury that ruled him out of a blockbuster showdown with Takeru Segawa this month.
His place has been taken by fellow countryman and former foe Superlek Kiatmoo9, who will defend his ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title against the Japanese superstar in the ONE 165 main event on January 28.
