Novak Djokovic does not seem to stop. The Serbian player has been in the best form of his life and he is going strong. He was recently crowned as the champion of the ATP Masters tournament in Paris after he defeated Daniil Medvedev in the finals.
With that win, he just took his revenge for his loss in the finals of the US Open a month earlier. Daniil Medvedev denied Novak 21st career grand slam. A feat that has not been achieved yet by any player. Leaving that aside, Novak has surpassed Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. Let us dig deep to find out more. Here’s everything that you need to know.
Novak Djokovic and his new Milestone
Recently, Novak Djokovic won the ATP Masters title in France. With that win, he has now won a total of 86 titles from a total of 267 appearances. This makes it a 32.2% win percentage. Rafael Nadal has two more titles than the Serbian player. He has a total of 88 titles in 292 appearances making it a 30.13% win percentage. Roger Federer has won the most titles among the three. The Swiss player stands at a massive 103 titles after 367 appearances. His win% stands at 28%.
Novak Djokovic has surpassed the two giants in this category. He is only behind the Legend Rod Laver. He stands at a strong 33.96% win record. The Australian player had registered 72 wins in just 212 matches. Earlier this week, he also achieved a new milestone as he finished the year at the top spot for the record 7th time in his career. Previously, he was tied at 6 with another legend of the game, Pete Sampras but after winning the Paris Masters, he created a new record to be written down in the history books.
