There were doubts whether Nate Diaz would corner Nick Diaz in his upcoming fight against Robbie Lawler at UFC 266. The absence of Nate Diaz in the UFC’s Embedded and in various promos that the elder Diaz cut in the lead-up to the fight made many fight fans wonder whether Nate Diaz will corner his elder brother in his UFC return. Needless to say, fight fans were waiting for the two brothers to show up together, and the Diaz brothers treated their fans as Nate Diaz shared a photo on the photo-sharing platform Instagram with his brother Nick Diaz, and longtime coach Cesar Gracie.

Nick Diaz had earlier revealed that he is training alongside his longtime coach Cesar Gracie. The former Strikeforce welterweight champion returns to the UFC Octagon after almost six years away from the cage in what promises to be one of the biggest events of this year.
UFC 266 goes down inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 25. The hugely anticipated PPV events featured two title fights. Alexander Volkanovski takes on Brian Ortega in his second title defense for the UFC’s featherweight championship in a five-round main event. In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will take on Lauren Murphy in what promises to be yet another exciting fight at UFC 266.
Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler to be a five-round fight at UFC 266
A five-round featured bout is not usually common in the UFC, however, with the Diaz brothers in the picture, that is becoming the trend. Earlier, Nate Diaz vs Leon Edwards became the first five-round featured bout back at UFC 263. Now, Nate’s elder brother Nick Diaz will return to the Octagon in a five-round featured bout against former rival Robbie Lawler.
Needless to say, fight fans around the world are excited to watch Nick Diaz back inside the cage. Over the past few fights, we have seen Nick take his brother’s side whenever he has stepped inside the Octagon. While it’s one thing to not be able to corner your brother because of the suspension, Nick Diaz and Nate Diaz have been there for each other all the time.
