Alistair Overeem is a former Dutch professional MMA fighter and kickboxer. Overeem has fought multiple big fights in his career. He holds an impressive 47-19 record in his professional MMA career. When it comes to professional kickboxing, he holds a 10-4 record with one no-contest.
Also called the Ubereem, the fighter was the first person to hold world titles in K-1 kickboxing as well as MMA at the same time. Overeem, in his finely established career, is a former K-1 World Grand Prix Champion, Dream Heavyweight Champion, and Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion.

Overeem’s UFC debut was a pay-per-view bout against Brock Lesnar on December 30, 2011. He won the bout via a TKO. His last UFC fight was on February 6, 2021.
Recently, Overeem has been seen going through a huge amount of weight loss. His bulk seemed to have completely been lost. He talked about it all on a morning show in Dubai.

Overeem credited his transition to the stoppage of eating meat. The man who is infamous for his love of steak and horse meat said, “I’ve been doing a lot of new things for health. This is my next chapter, promoting health.
“I became a vegetarian also. I got no desire to eat meat anymore,” Overeem revealed, according to Bloody Elbow. “Meat is not good for you. It negatively affects you. Yes, it tastes delicious. Even now I could still eat meat, but I just choose not to.”
Overeem’s shocking revelation included his complete lifestyle change. He said that he met a nutritionist who helped him tread this path.

“I started doing detoxing. I have this special nutritionist,” Overeem said (HT: Middle Easy). “When I met him, I instantly knew this guy has knowledge so we started working and I started taking these supplements — spirulina, coralline, and kelp — every morning in a reasonably high dosage… and after a couple of weeks, my diet, my appetite changed.
“‘You had parasites in your body,’” Overeem recounted what his new nutritionist told him.
He even casually mentioned that he is retiring from fighting.
“This actually ties into what I want to do, because I actually just decided to stop fighting. This is not my thing anymore,” Overeem said.
“It’s been 25 years, right? We’re going to do other cool stuff now,” he said.
What could be that he does next? As for that, Overeem plans to promote health. The man whose transition is widely being talked about has also “acquired shares” in a health expo in the Netherlands.
