UFC commentator Laura Sanko and influencer Nina Marie Daniele have gone viral all over the Internet. Sanko and Nina have become popular figures in the UFC world in recent times. However, they have won the hearts of almost every UFC fan with their next-level jiu-jitsu training video.
Recently, Nina Marie Daniele shared a video of herself with Laura Sanko about women’s jiu-jitsu on Instagram. Nina and Laura made a parody video on how people think women’s jiu-jitsu training looks seductive. In the same clip, they also showed how women train in reality, which didn’t exactly go along with the fans’ expectations. The video of Marie and Sanko immediately went viral on the Internet.

Several UFC fighters, like Sean Strickland and American MMA star Billy Quarantillo, even commented on Nina Marie Daniele‘s post. The reception of the video led to Nina and Laura Sanko sharing yet another video, where they further upped the ante. In the second video posted a few hours after the initial video, Marie posted another video of her and Laura doing jiu-jitsu.

In the video, Laura Sanko performs a seatbelt grip on the UFC personality interviewer. While Laura did warn Nina that she might have to tap out, it appeared as if the demonstration video went a step too far. After Sanko performed the grip on Marie, the latter tapped out rather quickly, looking visibly in discomfort. However, after taking a moment to catch her breath, Nina Marie looked fairly fine.
Laura Sanko has previously fought as a pro-MMA fighter
Laura Sanko is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable figures in the UFC world in current times. Sanko, who currently works as a commentator for the UFC, created history earlier in 2023. During UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Spivac, Sanko became the first female color commentator in UFC history. However, not all fans know that the 40-year-old American has previous experience as a pro-MMA fighter.
Between 2010 and 2012, Laura Sanko used to be an amateur MMA fighter. Nicknamed ‘Fancy’ after she was told that she was “too fancy” to fight in MMA, Laura used to fight in the atomweight division. She also fought her first and only professional fight at Invicta FC 4 in 2013, where she defeated Cassie Robb. However, she hung up her boots after fighting in 2013 and has since turned into a UFC commentator.
