Benoit Saint-Denis has expressed his desire to fight for the symbolic ‘BMF’ title. The French fighter, who has served five years as a member of the Special Forces, could be a good fit for the title as well.
The BMF (Baddest MotherF*cker) title, as the name suggests, is for fighters who have that persona. The first-ever BMF title fight took place at UFC 244. Nate Diaz took on Jorge Masvidal at the Madison Square Garden in New York on November 2, 2019, for the title fight.

As a BMF title fight should be fought, this fight involved blood and brutality. Masvidal came out victorious after a bloodied Diaz was asked by the doctors to stop fighting after the end of round 3. Gamebred was announced as the winner and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson put the iconic BMF title around his waist.
Masvidal went on a four-match loss streak after the fight and retired in April 2023. The BMF title was resurrected at UFC 291 in the lightweight division. Justin Gaethje took on Dustin Poirier for the symbolic title. Gaethje came out victorious with a head-kick KO.
For many, BSD, although less experienced, comes in the same fight category as Poirier and Gaethje. All of them have brutal power and extraordinary potential to perform. During the UFC 299 media day, Benoit Saint-Denis was asked if he would ever want to fight for the BMF title, he said, “Yeah, of course, this is the toughest division in the UFC for one reason- there’s two belts in this division.”
Saint-Denis will take on the former interim lightweight champion Poirer at UFC 299. BSD claimed he was expecting nothing from the fight and that it could go for however many rounds but he is ready for anything.
Benoit Saint-Denis predicts the winner of the BMF title fight at UFC 300
The French fighter was asked for his prediction for the UFC 300 BMF title fight. Gaethje will be defending the BMF title for the first time against Max Holloway at the milestone PPV event. The fight will take place at lightweight. According to BSD, the weight category will make the difference. He said, “I’m not sure but I will go with Gaethje because of the weight.”
At UFC 299, Saint-Denis is expecting a hostile crowd in Miami, Florida. Poirier trains in Florida and the French fighter believes the crowd will be supporting the home fighter.

Saint-Denis was also asked if he expected the UFC 299 fight to be a “dog fight” which would end with someone knocked out. Instead, he claimed if people enjoyed the Michael Chandler vs Poirier fight they would enjoy the Saint-Denis vs Poirier fight. Poirier went to war against Chandler in a bloody battle at UFC 281 and defeated him via submission.
