By the end of the third quarter, the Warriors were trailing behind with 11 points, as the teams were standing at 86-97. However, Stephen Curry and Co. reigned back in the game in overtime, amassing a six-point lead. It was in the terminal seconds of overtime that the ‘baby-faced assassin’ looked back at Brown and said, “But I’m small?” Chef Curry hit a three-point jump shot despite Brown guarding the 6-foot-2, clapping back at Brown and letting out a couple of taunts.
The Celtics guard/forward got a lot of negative traction on X, formerly Twitter, as he provoked Curry to bring up his A-Game. While one fan even wrote, “Still the daddy of the Boston Celtics.” The Warriors starting five scored in double digits tonight, supporting Curry to answer the C’s.
