Dwight Howard was one of the most dominant centers in the league during the 2000s and early 2010s. But in recent times, the ex-NBA star has been under scrutiny by the public eye. Based on recent events, people have been questioning his identity as well.
A person named Stephen Harper recently came out with numerous allegations against the former Los Angeles Lakers player. Harper claimed that Howard assaulted and intentionally inflicted emotional distress on him. According to Harper, the incident took place two years ago when he visited the basketball star at his home in Atlanta.

Fans have been blasting the former three-time defensive player of the year, while he remains silent on this matter.
Dwight Howard revealed his truth following a previous lawsuit with Masin Elije
This isn’t the first time Dwight Howard is being questioned about his se*ual identity. Back in 2018, a person named Mason Elije accused Dwight of being in a relationship with him. Elije bashed the athlete claiming that he slept with a transgender woman. Dwight and his pastor allegedly threatened Elije to stop falsely accusing him. Elije also alleged that Howard wanted him to sign an NDA offering him hush money as well.
Howard would eventually deny the allegations. He spoke about the lawsuit’s negative effects and how he had the entire world turn against him. “People were talking about it, and it upset me because I didn’t even know who the person was. Why would somebody, who I never met, never had any contact with, make up a whole story about me?” I saw all the hate,” he told Kristine Leahy on an episode of Fair Game.
“I’m not gay. It’s a lot of people who are and they have to hide, and there’s people who have mental issues and they have to hide… They have to put on the mask every day, and it’s like, I don’t wanna wear no mask,” he added. People are still trying to dig for the truth regarding Stephen Harper’s accusations. It isn’t a good sign if such instances keep resurfacing on Dwight’s end.
