Recently, as the WWE superstars landed in Perth, Australia, for the Elimination Chamber, Austin Theory was seen engaging in a heated debate with an Australian journalist. The journalist Anthony De Ceglie, who is the editor-in-chief at ‘The West Australian’, supposedly labeled pro wrestling ‘Fake’ which led to the argument.
The clip where Theory confronts the journalist is going viral on the internet. During the interview with Austin, De Ceglie went above the line and made some disrespectful remarks about wrestling. He said that the sport lacked toughness as compared to Australian Rules football or rugby league.

This angered Theory, and he replied, “You’re saying what I do is easy and you’re in front of all of your people talking about my job is easy … you couldn’t walk a damn day in my shoes. Are you kidding me man? I will smack the sh*t outta you right now.” Austin said that he was serious and not playing around.
After this, the security intervened and cooled down the escalation between them. The whole WWE Universe is focused on Australia right now, as the PLE is about to happen on Saturday. And the media is covering up everything.

Another fan wrote, “Not even been more than 2 days of them being in Perth and theory already standing on business.” The fan appreciated Austin Theory for taking a stand. One more fan wrote, “Good for Austin Theory. Love when wrestlers stand up for the business.” In the same spirit of supporting the superstar.
One of the fans predicted that Theory had the potential to become a great face and said, “Theory will be a bigger face than he ever was as a heel once they let him be himself.
