LeBron James always appreciates his family as it is the most important thing that he has in his life. Over the years, the King has tried his best to provide for them and give them the absolute best. He also puts in a lot of effort to spend time with his three children, Bronny, Bryce, and his youngest, Zhuri. The three of them are shared between LeBron and his wife Savannah, who has been around since they were in school.
While the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has dreams of seeing his children make it big, Savannah believes they should be allowed to follow their hearts. Both their sons have been playing basketball exceptionally well. Bronny recently got recruited by the University of South California and chances are he might become an NBA player very soon. On being asked about her feelings toward her children’s success, Savannah said she wanted nothing but happiness for them.
In an interview with The Cut, she said, “I’m happy for them. Listen, I want nothing for them except for their happiness. That’s it. In whatever it is that they decide to do, I’m here supporting and rooting for them. I’m their biggest fan always. If they decide to go the NBA route or a different route, whatever that is, I’m here.” A mother’s unconditional love is enough to light a spark within the hearts of her children. Surely, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri have not taken it for granted.
LeBron James’ career-long dream is to play with Bronny James in the NBA
LeBron James is currently in his 20th year as a professional basketball player. His dedication to the game has made him arguably the greatest NBA player of all time. Despite being 38 years old, the King of LA has not shown any sign of stopping. One reason is that he puts in a lot of work to maintain his physical health and invests a lot into it. The other reason is that he dreams of becoming the first father-son duo to play in the NBA.
“I was serious, and I’m still serious about it,” LeBron said according to Yahoo Sports. In an interview with Dave McMenamin, James also said, “I need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny. Either in the same uniform or a matchup against him. But I would love to do the whole Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. thing. That would be ideal for sure.” James Sr. is keen on fulfilling this dream of his.
On the other hand, Bronny also wants to play in the NBA. He will only be eligible to participate in the NBA in 2024 and mock drafts have already placed him high up on the list. Bronny will compulsorily have to play a year in college since he hasn’t turned 19 years old yet. However, it is unknown whether James Jr. will finish his education or declare for the NBA Draft first.
