Bret Hart is undoubtedly one of the most experienced wrestlers of all time. He has been prominent in the world of professional wrestling. Whether it was his run in WWE or his run in the WCW, he was always the center of attention. Bret is easily one of the best technicians inside the squared circle and has been one of the most creative wrestlers of all time.
The Hitman was very much over the crowd during his tenure in the WWE. He was a fan favorite and portrayed a larger-than-life character during his run with the company. His career, however, has been full of controversies, given the kind of exit he had from the Triple-H-led promotion in 1997. He is a changed man now and is on good terms with everyone related to the company.
The Hall of Famer has been involved in several segments of WWE since then and has been a constant watcher of the sport. When Tony Khan introduced the world to his newest company, All Elite Wrestling, he tried to get as many legends as he could to attract fans. In this process, he even called out the Hitman for a short appearance to help attract more viewers.

Bret’s history in professional wrestling is legendary, and it’s possible that he was looking at backstage roles at AEW. But it appears that the promotion has rejected that. He offered to represent them as an agent, but they intended to hire him simply as a manager. Given the amount of experience he has and having Bret by their side, AEW could have performed better.
