The 2023 French Open campaign of Stefanos Tsitsipas ended in the quarterfinal against top-seed Carlos Alcaraz after he lost in straight sets. On the other hand, Novak Djokovic, who defeated him in the Australian Open final, earlier this year, won the clay-court Major for the third time. Following the number, the 26-year-old was applauded by top figures around the world.
Consequently, one tennis player who came forward to congratulate the Serb after the 2023 Roland Garros win was Stefanos Tsitsipas. However, fans were quick to point out that the Greek tennis player used the AI software, ChatGPT to write the applauding message.
A social media user uploaded a screenshot as he asked ChatGPT to write a congratulatory message template. Consequently, the message was exactly the same as what Tsitsipas penned for the 23-time Grand Slam champion.
As a result, a few hours after the Greek posted the tweet, it got flooded by tennis zealots, calling out Stefanos Tsitsipas for using the artificial intelligence software instead of putting a human effort into writing the commendation.
The 24-year-old’s wishes for Novak Djokovic met with numerous sarcastic as well as hilarious replies. One user even said that it is ChatGPT that has copied Stefanos Tsitsipas’ responses.
“No, it’s the other way round. ChatGPT has based many of their responses on Tsitsipas’s original, genuine, and most authentic tweets,” a user tweeted.

Some data scientists spotting the very chatGPTish message. It is like my friend who works in Twitter was telling me: if you don’t speak like that, you don’t write like that.

And do you also use chatGPT to talk to Badosita in Dubai?
