NBA 2K24 has brought a plethora of newly added features and upgrades along with it. The game was released a few days ago and things have been fairly smooth sailing. So far, fans have also been enjoying the benefits of the game’s newest features. This year 2K planned to make the game more realistic in terms of user experience and visuals as well. Needless to say, they did a very good job at it as well.
The franchise is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. It first came out in November 1999, over two decades ago. This is an impressive and important milestone in the legacy of the game and Ronnie 2K’s career. They have been consistently upgrading the game every year to stay relevant and fun as well. 2K has been working tirelessly to revert to the requests of its fan base as well.
There are a couple of unique upgrades made to NBA 2K24. For instance, they have introduced cross-play, which allows players to connect via two different consoles. 2K24 also includes a few segments such as ProPlay that integrates real-life NBA moments in the gameplay. 2K24 also has a set of upgrades in the badge system, auction house, MyTeam, MyCareer, and MyPlayer options as well.
Fans react to LeBron James’ Mamba 4 Life tattoo that’s featured on NBA 2K24
This year marks a major milestone in the legacy of the 2K franchise. NBA 2K24 is the 24th installment of the game. And usually, a 24th anniversary or event as such is generally referred to as the “Kobe Year”. Hence to celebrate the special occasion and honor the Los Angeles Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant was made the cover athlete of 2K24. They also created a separate segment within the gameplay dedicated to Bryant.
But this particular feature has to take the cake. We are all aware of LeBron James and what he has done for the league. The 4x Champion has had several run-ins with Kobe as well. And he’s also known for having unique tattoos, with one of them being dedicated to Bryant. NBA 2K24 has featured this tattoo on James’ avatar in the game. The tattoo is of a snake and “Mamba 4 Life” written under it.

As you can see, fans reacted to this by saying, “2K added LeBron’s ‘Mamba 4 Life’ tattoo in NBA 2K24 (overjoyed emoticon).” Another fan said, “I never knew he had that tat.” As mentioned earlier, NBA 2K24 also added a segment specifically dedicated to Bryant called “Mamba Moments”. This segment allows fans to relive iconic moments from Kobe’s career via challenges.
