NBA fans should certainly be aware that LeBron James has tried his hand at acting. However, they will not have heard much about Zach Andrews and his interesting relationship with King James. As we all know, LeBron has found an incredible amount of success during his career in the NBA.
That has not stopped him from trying out different things. James also garnered attention when we found out he was going to be acting in Space Jam 2. Fans might wonder how the King was able to pull off the fast-paced action scenes and how Zach Andrews fits into all of this.
When did Zach Andrews start working with LeBron James?
Although many of us might not know it, Zach Andrews used to be a basketball player and had brief stints in the G League and with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, he never really took his playing career forward and chose to try his hand at stunt-producing back in 2012.

Just a year later, he signed on with LeBron James to be his stunt double. Those who are familiar with the world of movies know that stunt doubles are skilled individuals who look similar to the main actor. They are the ones who usually engage in risky stunts in order to make sure the actor doesn’t get seriously hurt.
Since Space Jam is an action movie, in a manner of speaking, there were certainly a lot of stunts that LeBron would have to do throughout the movie. Zach is listed as 6’9 and weighs 230 lbs. These numbers are nearly identical to James who is 6’9 and 250 lbs. Andrews is also the same age as LeBron and is currently 38 years old.

We are glad to see that Zach Andrews was able to find success. Not only has he worked at Warner Brothers, but he is also the stunt double for a highly respected LeBron James. Andrews will likely be given a lot of work down the line if the King decides to try his hand at acting in more movies. After all, James will have a long life after his NBA career ends and Los Angeles is the perfect place to become an actor.
