LeBron James is currently known as one of the greatest players of all time. For several years he has competed and dominated the floor consistently. Not only did he earn his GOAT status but the King managed to surpass most legends of the game as well.
During high school, he averaged numbers as though he played in the NBA. Viewed as one of the biggest high school prospects of all time, James remained consistent with his contributions on the court.
St. Vincent – St. Mary High School was extremely powerful when James competed. He easily scored thirty to forty points at a stretch during his senior year. Even though he was a major contributor to the Fighting Irish’s success, he had a good set of players that backed him up every time. Dru Joyce III, Sian Cotton, Willie McGee, and Romeo Travis were his trusted teammates and they were collectively known as the Fab 5.

The team won back-to-back state titles and also had their games televised because of how well they played. LeBron James collaborated with a well-known writer named Buzz Bissinger to work on a book called Shooting Stars. It was based around James’ high school career and life with the Fab 5 as well.
A movie rendition of the book was released on June 2, 2023, and all the members of the Fab 5 were present at the Peacock premier. Sian Cotton is the most well-known besides James. Let’s take a look into his life post the Fab 5 era.
Sian Cotton is pursuing a career in the music industry
Much like his former teammate LeBron James, Sian Cotton was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. According to The Cinemaholic, Sian attended the same church as the Irish’s Coach, Dru Joyce and this connection led to him becoming friends with three other members of the Fab 5 (including LeBron James). James was the reason why Sian started practicing basketball even though he was interested in other sports.

Eventually, they began competing and dominating neighboring institutions, even Buchtel High School, Savannah James’ alma mater. It wasn’t until Dru, Willie, James, and Sian joined forces with a former rival, Travis Romeo to form the Fab 5. Together, they all dominated the floor and had a couple of near-undefeated seasons. The Fighting Irish were at the top of their game with them. Ultimately, the team disbanded and LeBron James declared for the NBA Draft.

Sian Cotton is currently pursuing a music career. The former basketball star is an aspiring rapper that LeBron loves to support from time to time. Cotton had a very interesting rise in popularity as well. He submitted one of his tracks to be featured on NBA2K. The game was programmed to have the track played for LeBron. James was surprised by his 2K feature song and gave a huge shout-out to his buddy.
