Members of the basketball community might want to know which of Steph Curry’s shoes can be considered the best. As many fans should be aware, Steph is the franchise star for the Golden State Warriors and is the biggest reason behind the success that GSW has seen over the past decade.
As it goes with elite professional athletes, Curry also promotes a shoe brand called Under Armor and has released several signature shoes over the years. While each fan is free to have their own opinion on their favorite signature shoe, here are the top 5 best basketball shoes Curry has released with Under Armor.
1. The Curry Flow 9
The Curry Flow 9 is widely acknowledged by the Golden State Warriors star’s fanbase as one of the best if not the best shoes from his signature line. The shoe was acknowledged by the basketball community for the sense of traction and stability that it provided for the user. As one can tell, the Curry 9 is predominantly blue in colour with multi-color splashes and a white sole.
It might interest some fans to hear that Steph was able to break the NBA’s former three-point record while wearing the Curry 9. Moreover, he also won the 2022 all-star game MVP award while wearing the same.
2. Curry 10 ‘Double Bang’
The Curry 10 “Double Bang” is primarily black and gold in color with white soles and the Under Armor logo at the heel. Given that it represents the Warriors’ traditional colors and came out in 2023 after Steph managed to win his 4th NBA championship, the shoe generated quite a lot of attention from the basketball community.
3. Curry 4 Flotro
The Curry 4 Flotro was released in July of 2022, almost immediately after Steph and the Warriors managed to defeat the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. The shoe is primarily lilac in color and is quite pleasing to the eyes when compared to some of the more flashier shoes on the market.
4. Curry Flow 8
The Curry Flow 8 was released back in December 2020 and was promoted well due to the fact that it promised a sense of grip, no skidding or slipping. It is primarily yellow and white in color. Since the shoe lived up to those expectations, it did well in sales and was received well by fans.
Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna tragically died around the same time when this shoe was released. As a result, Steph adorned a custom Curry Flow 8 with their images included on the shoe in order to show his support and emotion over the entire ordeal. Nonetheless, Flow 8’s unique features give it a place on this list.
5. Curry 1- first shoe ever
Although it is last on this list, the Curry 1 is the first ever shoe endorsed by Stephen Curry with Under Armor and is still considered an iconic model to his fanbase. It allowed for a greater sense of traction and cushioning when compared to other shoes and was heralded as one of the best first signature shoes for any NBA player.
