With game 3 of the first-round NBA 2021 playoffs between Philadelphia 76ers and the Washington Wizards all set to tip-off at 4:30 am IST tomorrow at the Capital One Arena, Embiid and the 76ers will be hoping to take a 3-0 lead. However, the hands of the Wizards fate lies a lot on the shoulder of one player, Russell Westbrook.
Russell Westbrook skips practice and is questionable for game 3
Westbrook created havoc this year during the regular season of the NBA when this all-star went on to break records. But in the postseason Washington Wizards are not exactly having the dream start to their playoff run. While Game 1 was a close loss, the Sixers recorded a blowout victory over the Wizards following a bad shooting night. The Washington Wizards are down 0-2 and go into game 3 tomorrow.
In Game 2, he rolled his ankle and was seen leaving the game. According to reports, Russell Westbrook also decided to skip the team practice, creating speculations amongst fans if Russell Westbrook would step out on court tomorrow.

The point guard rolled his ankle during the last quarter of Game 2 between the 76ers and the Wizards. To add more salt to the wound while Russell Westbrook was leaving a fan throw popcorn on him. Westbrook leads the Wizards by front along with the support of his fellow all-star, Bradley Beal. The Washington Wizards cannot afford to lose Russell Westbrook as they have been purely a two-man show.
He is listed as questionable for the game and will likely be a game-time decision by Coach Brooks. When asked about the same he responded saying, “We will see how he feels tomorrow”. Other than Russell Westbrook, the Washington Wizards have two players out, Thomas Bryant and Deni Avdija.
