Devin Booker is averaging lead the Suns as he is averaging 25.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists. Booker scored 35 points against the Nets scoring an efficient 56.5% from the field. Chris Paul continues to live up to the ‘Point God’ moniker as he leads Phoenix with 11.9 assists while averaging 18.4 points over the last 10 games.
Atlanta Hawks season so far
Like the Suns, the Atlanta Hawks have been on a tear as they have seven out of their last ten games. But on the contrary, the Hawks are currently placed 10th in the east with a record of 24 wins and 26 losses. ATL is putting up 116.2 points, 41.3 rebounds, 26.6 assists, 7.2 steals and 5.3 blocks per game while shooting 49.8% from the field. The Hawks could miss Trae Young’s 27.7 points and 9.3 assists because of a shoulder injury and wasn’t part of the contact part of Tuesday’s practice and will be a game-time decision. Hence, Atlanta could rely on the services of John Collins and Bogdan Bogdanovic who are putting up 16.7 points and 12.6 points respectively over the last 10 games.
Phoenix Suns vs Atlanta Hawks Match Prediction
Both teams have been on rolls of late as the Phoenix Suns have 11 straight victories while the Atlanta Hawks have won seven of eight. The Hawks have heavily depended on Trae Young and hence could be disadvantaged if he isn’t available for the game. Without Young, ATL has a record of 15-21, making the Suns favourites.
Phoenix has been a dangerous team on the offensive end of the floor and with Booker being in form of his life. Suns also have a chance to dominate Atlanta’s defensive woes as they have the fourth-worst Adjusted Defensive Rating while allowing 114.0 points per 100 possessions. Hence, the Phoenix Suns have too many weapons for Atlanta and can add the 12th victory in their winning streak.
