Michael Rubin’s debut as the guest shark on the renowned ‘Shark Tank’ show took the internet by storm. It is undoubtful that Rubin is a remarkably skilled businessman who has led his company ‘Fanatics’ to greater heights over time. He took to his X account to upload snippets and behind-the-scenes from his appearance on the show, and fans got to witness his interaction with billionaire Mark Cuban.
One of the most intriguing ones was when Rubin tried to beat Cuban’s offer for a company named ‘Bot-It’. He initially offered Cuban to partner with him. However, Rubin’s offer was turned down by Cuban as he stated, “No, I want these guys all to myself”. What followed was an interesting interaction where after getting to know what Cuban is offering, Rubin went lower.
As the guest shark, I tried to be polite and work with @mcuban for my first deal, but he decided to be greedy and cut me out of his offer… so of course I had to undercut him 😂😂🤷♂️ pic.twitter.com/7clNY5riUE

This sparked various reactions from fans and one of them stated, “We they go low, we go lower”. Thereby emphasizing in a witty tone how Rubin went lower after Cuban went low.
Another said, “You are best host this season”, and considering the empire and success that Rubin was able to build, it is certain that he was rightfully present on the show. In addition to being the CEO of Fanatics which provides sports merchandise, Rubin is the executive chairman of Rue Gilt Groupe.
Michael Rubin and Mark Cuban partnered at $300,000 for a 30% ownership of Bot-It
Michael Rubin and Mark Cuban who are related to the sports industry in one way or another, partnered to invest in the company ‘Bot-It‘. Maurice Bachelor and Joel Griffith the founders of the AI company, came to Shark Tank with the hopes of getting $150,000 for a 10% ownership. However, after Rubin tried to undercut Cuban by making a lower offer than him, the two eventually partnered at $300,000 for 30%.
After making the offer of $150,000 for 15%, Rubin admitted that he is not as knowledgeable about bots as Cuban is. Furthermore, Maurice and Joel tried to reach the middle point wherein they could partner with both Rubin and Cuban. The founders of Bot-It were successfully able to land the deal with them, and Rubin posted about his first deal.
Did I force @mcuban into that deal? Who’s to say? 😂😂🤷♂️ But in all seriousness, I truly believed in Gavin and needed to invest in him… and Mark’s a great partner I guess lol pic.twitter.com/zWamTozoN7
