Michael Jordan is one of the most feared athletes in the NBA and in real life. However, Raiden K. Hagedorn decided to upset him. No one in their right mind would want to have any beef with the 6x NBA champion. However, Jordan’s mansion in Highland Park, Illinois was burglarized. The trespasser was arrested by the police after the neighbors reported a break-in. The police authorities were quick to the scene and caught the culprit at the scene.
The $14.8 million mansion was burglarized by two teenagers, one of whom happens to be an 18-year-old. His name is Raiden K. Hagedorn and he is facing criminal charges. He will be facing one count of criminal trespass, and two counts of criminal damage to the property. According to Daily Herald, Raiden is a resident of the 300 block of Anthony Avenue.

Information regarding the second culprit along with Raiden will not be disclosed, as he is identified as a minor. Currently, Raiden is released on a recognizance bond, which means no money was paid in order to get out of jail. However, the case is listed as pending and will be appearing before the court on April 20.
Regardless of the break-in, specialist Sara Avalos of the Lake County State’s attorney’s office states that Raiden didn’t break into Jordan’s mansion with the intention to steal anything. There is only a damaged window according to preliminary reports by the authorities.
Why is Michael Jordan unable to sell his $14.8 million mansion?
Jordan’s Highland Park mansion is listed on the market for $14.8 million, which is half the initial value. The mansion originally cost $29 million, however, it has been a decade since the mansion has been up for sale. The mansion is a 56,000-square-foot property with Jordan’s signature everywhere. Since 2012, the mansion has been heavily marketed throughout the years, however, there are no serious buyers for the Jordan-themed mansion.
Jordan has been struggling to find a buyer for his mansion ever since it went up on the market. Jordan has been living in his Jupiter mansion in Florida, and last visited the Highland Park mansion last year. The primary reason Jordan is struggling to sell his mansion is its location. The location where the mansion is built isn’t popular among celebrities and wealthy people. Till then Jordan continues to pay property tax on the mansion.
