Rajon Rondo has been involved in legal troubles since his NBA hiatus
According to an ESPN report, Rondo threatened a woman with a gun in Louisville, Kentucky in May 2022. The woman was granted an emergency protective order as she feared for the safety of her children. Rondo was again in trouble in late January 2024. According to TMZ, he was stopped in traffic in January 2024 for “not having plates on the back of his Tesla”. However, it was later found that he had marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a gun.
Reports suggest that he was released after posting a $700 bond. However, it was noted that after his 2022 case, he was forbidden from keeping a gun. According to TMZ, Rondo’s lawyers have argued that it goes against his constitutional rights. The former Lakers player will appear in court in late March.
