The Eastern Conference Finals took a massive turn this year. Boston Celtics facade the Miami Heat yet again in the third round. Though this time, the Heat entered the playoffs as an eighth seed. After taking a 3-0 lead over the Celtics, the series pretty much came to an end.
Boston on the other hand some other plans. The Celtics came back strong, winning three games in a row, as the series is now tied at 3-3. Boston is one of the four teams to force a Game 7 after recovering from a 0-3 deficit in NBA history.

Whereas in the West, things got wrapped up pretty quickly, as Denver easily went past the Lakers to advance to the NBA Finals. While the Nuggets wait for their opponent, The Celtics will look to make history to be the first team to come back from a 0-3 deficit and win the series as well.
Previously, teams that forced a Game 7 after such a deficit couldn’t finish it all the way. Celtics, being the favorites to win the series have a great chance to do so. Little do they know that Miami seems to have already planned their next trip.
The Miami Heat plan their schedule post the series ahead of Game 7
The Heat might play their last game of the 2023 postseason tonight. Though for Miami, they strongly believe that it’s just a regular road game. Recent reports revealed that the Heat have a flight scheduled for Denver following Game 7 versus the Celtics. This was definitely an optimistic move from Miami if it is to be true. Led by Jimmy Butler, the Heat had played exceptionally well till Game 3 of the East Finals.
The team quite literally came from the ground up to play on the big stage. Though this move of theirs had fans on Twitter baffled. One even tweeted, “Good to see they already making vacation plans.”

Game 7 will go down in history, as either the Celtics will become the first team to make a comeback from a 0-3 deficit, or the Heat will register its name as the second team in NBA history to make the NBA Finals as an eight seed.
The Celtics currently hold the momentum of the series and the Finale game will be played on their floor. It will be interesting to see history unfold tonight in Boston. As a memorable Game 7 is scheduled, Jayson Tatum and Jimmy Butler look to lead their team to the promised land yet again.
