Stephen Curry is an American professional basketball player in the Golden State Warriors in National Basketball Association (NBA). He has been named the best shooter in NBA history by many critics and players. By encouraging teams to routinely use the three-point shot, he is credited with revolutionizing the game of basketball. Curry, a six-time NBA All-Star, has been twice named the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) and won the Warriors three NBA championships.
Endorsements are one of the greatest attributes that decide the market worth of an athlete, something that is also true in the NBA. Stephen Curry, the charismatic point guard of the Golden State Warriors, is one of the most bankable NBA stars around and the face of the ‘Underarmour’ sports activewear brand.
Underarmour to launch the standalone brand with NBA star Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry has a shoe brand of his own now. For a while now, he has embraced Underarmour. The sportswear business is now preparing to launch a standalone brand that will feature the name of Curry.
With Nike’s Jordan brand, which has developed itself as an iconic product line, the aim is to go toe to toe. With Underarmour, Curry already has a bunch of signature shoes, and this venture is likely to boost both his and the brand’s success.
Stephen Curry was recently in the press for the exhibition golf game he played, which also included Phil Mickelson, Peyton Manning, and Charles Barkley. However, as golf legend Mickelson and former NBA MVP Barkley proved too intense a rivalry for Stephen Curry and 2-time NFL championship winner Peyton Manning, the Golden State Warriors star ended up on the losing side.
After finishing the last campaign at the bottom of the Western Conference, Curry and the Warriors will be looking to bounce back next season. The franchise, however, was recently hit by a massive blow when star shooting guard Klay Thompson was ruled out of the entire 2020-21 season.
That makes Stephen Curry one of the main players in the upcoming NBA season for the Warriors. In the form of Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins, he has a good support cast. The trio will be looking to help the team reach the finals of the Western Conference and also push them all the way.
Curry said that with all they are, Curry Brand is all about doing good, they’ve tried to represent it in their own acts, and they think it’s also something that other people might really get behind no matter where they are in life or what their ambitions are, sports or otherwise. Everyone has the potential to influence and give back in some way to the next person, and that’s more important now than ever before.
On December 1, the NBA All-Star’s newest venture will release apparel, followed by the initial drop of Curry 8 via Under Armour on December 11.
