Stephen Curry has already left an undeniable mark on the NBA. Over his illustrious 14-year-long career, Stephen has numerous accolades to his name. He was 6 years old when he started playing basketball, and now at 35 years old, he is giving the same exposure to his children. In an interview, the Golden State Warriors star revealed how his daughter, Riley Curry has chosen volleyball as her forte.
Just two years after being drafted he walked down the aisle with Ayesha Curry in 2011 who he met in childhood at a church. The two ended up meeting again when Steph came to Los Angeles for the ESPY Awards. Little did they know that this would eventually turn into something more.

Steph and Ayesha’s eldest daughter, Riley has always left fans stunned with the amazing talents that she possesses. Ayesha has revealed in the past how she almost cried after she witnessed Riley’s love and interest in cooking. Furthermore, Volleyball is the one that has been added to the list this year.
Steph spoke to People about Riley’s passion for volleyball and revealed how she is excited to go to practice. In his own words, “Riley, she’s super into volleyball right now, and a light bulb went off, actually this year, where she’s excited to go to practice and dribbling or passing the ball around the house and all that type of stuff”. Steph’s words portray a beautiful picture of how their home must look like with a little volleyball star in the making.
Stephen Curry has introduced most types of sports to his children
In the same interview, Stephen Curry also shed light on how he has almost every sport to his three children. He said, “I’ve introduced pretty much every sport, for the most part, to all of them”. This has led to his eldest daughter, Riley discovering her passion for Volleyball. While speaking about this, Steph stated, “So she’s found something she loves, and she’s passionate about it, and she loves to work at it”.
Despite his daughter Riley choosing a different sport than him, the Warriors star seems to be encouraging her growth. He has also put emphasis on how he sees a reflection of himself in the little star. Steph candidly spoke, “To see that light bulb go off and that level of focus, that you see a little bit of yourself in. And trying to encourage that as much as possible”.
Additionally, they have a son, Canon W. Jack Curry, who was born in 2018. Fans are awaiting to witness what each child chooses to be when they grow up. As well as how the athletic background has an impact on them. With Stephen trying to introduce them to each sport, they might walk down the same path as their father.
