From being criticized for his weight to being called the least athletic player in the league, Nikola Jokic has come a very long way. By the end of his career, the Serbian giant will go down as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. Right now, the Denver Nuggets are one game away from making history under his leadership.
During Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Finals, there were quite a few celebrities in attendance. Shakira was present on the bleachers as well as Neymar Jr. and Paul Pogba. UFC superstar Conor McGregor also made an appearance to promote TIDL Cryotherapy Pain Relief Spray, which recently became a sponsor of the Miami Heat team.

Hollywood legends Chris Tucker and Forest Whitaker were also present at the Kaseya Center. Another important figure who dropped by was rapper Lil Wayne, he has been a big fan of the NBA. While walking past ESPN’s Jalen Rose, the former NBA told Wayne, “The Joker ain’t no joke.” The rapper replied, “You feel me… I ain’t never seen no s**t like that.” Nikola Jokic has every Heat fan clenching their fists in anxiousness. Miami is in a really tough spot at the moment.
Nikola Jokic is one game away from leading the Denver Nuggets to their first NBA title
Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat battled it through the play-in tournament and into the playoffs. After an upsetting regular season, they somehow managed to clinch the final spot in the playoffs. They knocked out the Milwaukee Bucks (1st seed in the East) and became one of the very few 8th-seeded teams to make it to the NBA Finals.
Butler and his squad play best under pressure. But somewhere between the last four games, the Heat gave up a little too much. Nikola Jokic is currently averaging 30.7 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 8 assists per game. Jokic has been trying his best to contribute on both sides of the floor. Denver hasn’t been shooting the best from beyond the arc, but they’re inside shooting has been on point and consistent.
Jamal Murray‘s emergence has been vital this season. The point guard missed an entire season only to return and help the Nuggets bounce back to being a title contender. Murray has been putting up 25.2 points, 6.3 assists, and 5 rebounds per game shooting 47.4% from the field, 40.6% from three, and 92.6% from the foul line. Denver is up 3-1 putting Miami in a situation that’s been overcome once in 36 times. If the Heat manages to take away the series in Game 7, they’d be the second team to come back from a 3-1 deficit and the first 8th seed to win a title.
