With his recent generosity of $10 million towards the foundation, he has set a record with the amount. He has made the largest donation in the 43-year history of the foundation, what a way to give back to society. “For the past 34 years, it’s been an honor to partner with Make-A-Wish and help bring a smile and happiness to so many kids,” said Jordan, as per Associated Press. “Witnessing their strength and resilience during such a tough time in their lives has truly been an inspiration.”
Jordan is the owner of the NBA franchise Charlotte Hornets and has been with the foundation since 1989. As per the Foundation, the money donated by Jordan will, “create an endowment to provide the funds needed to make future wishes possible for kids with critical illnesses,” as explained by the foundation.

Jordan’s Netflix series, “The Last Dance,” which covered Jordan’s career with the Bulls brought in huge revenues. He decided to donate the proceeds to Feeding America. The money donated by his Airness was used to feed 46 million people who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020, Jordan and his brand with Nike pledged to make a donation f $100 million in the coming 10 years. This donation will be used to fight for, “racial quality, social justice, and greater access to education.” This announcement was made during the Black Lives Matter protests, following the killing of George Floyd.
