The Golden State Warriors played the Boston Celtics in a 6 game thrilling NBA finals. But once again, experience trumped heart and GSW take home the NBA title for the 4th time in 8 years. Their days of being a dynasty never truly ended. And their biggest rival, LeBron James, had to commend the play he saw the Warriors display.

The Warriors began their impressive dynasty with their first finals appearance against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. They beat them but without Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. GSW then choked a 3-1 lead to King James again. However, they then got KD and won the next 2 NBA titles against LeBron James again. 4 straight finals against The King cemented him as their rival, without any debate.

However, 3 years ago, the Warriors were hit with bad luck in the 2019 NBA finals. They got hit so badly that they were sent straight to the lottery in the next season. They tried to claw back the season after. But still narrowly missed out in the play-in games. This season, they did not want to let up. Warriors got addicted to the taste of success and needed their fix.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green supported by Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins were set to achieve that. However, all the narratives painted the Warriors in a situation of no-man land. Hence, when they made the NBA playoffs as a high seed, those storylines started to crumble.
They then made easy work of the teams on the way to the NBA finals. GSW beat the back-to-back MVP, Most Improved Player, and the future G.O.A.T. of the NBA in 3 straight series. Golden State depended on their defense in the regular season as they were the best defensive team in the entire league and used that same strength to strong-arm their way to an NBA title.
The Warriors won game 6 by 13 points in Boston behind Steph’s 34.

LeBron James had to appreciate his rival on the court and good friend off the court, Draymond Green who was celebrating with 2 bottles from LeBron’s brand of tequila. He’s supported them throughout the playoffs and it’s safe to say that he’s squashed all of their rivalries for now.
