LeBron has lived up to all the expectations when he was drafted straight out of high school. LeBron is considered to be one of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball. He is often talked about at the same level as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Bill Russell and other such great players.

James is currently #3 on the All-Time scoring list below LA Lakers legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Utah Jazz star Karl Malone. He is sure to pass Karl Malone before he retires. Does it mean LeBron James is more popular in America than Michael Jordan?
The debate of LeBron James vs Michael Jordan is age-old with no conclusive winner. While MJ was a shooting guard, LeBron James does well on the scoring end as well as involving his teammates.
James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a championship in 2016 after being downs 3-1 in the NBA Finals against Golden State Warriors. Michael Jordan on the other hand led the Chicago Bulls to 6 championships and 2 3-peats. LeBron James surpassed Michael Jordan on almost all fronts but his losing record in the finals is always raised in the GOAT debate.

While single-handedly led the Cleveland Cavaliers to NBA Finals in 2007, Michael Jordan never made it past the first round before teaming up Scottie Pippen. But one this is for sure, the US still considers Michael Jordan as a far better player and globally he is better known than LeBron. But the retired NBA Legend keeps a low profile on social media as opposed to LeBron James who is active on these platforms.
LeBron James is followed by Stephen Curry with 36.7 million followers, and Russell Westbrook with 18 million followers. James Harden, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kyrie Irving are several other players on the top 10 list of most followed basketball players.
