Los Angeles Lakers fans want their team to turn back time and find a way to bring Alex Caruso from the Chicago Bulls to the Lakers. As the members of the basketball community should be aware, Caruso has been with the Chicago Bulls for the past few years and become a well-known member of the roster.
As the Chicago Bulls faced off against Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns, Caruso was able to put his impressive defensive skills on display and significantly contain KD’s scoring for the majority of the game. Considering that Durant is almost 7 feet tall and virtually unstoppable, Caruso’s recent accomplishment deserves its due credit.
Upon seeing what their former player is accomplishing with his new team, Lakers fans were quick to take their feelings to social media and tried to convince Rob Pelinka to make another move to improve his team. With that being said, let us take a closer look and find out more.
Will the Los Angeles Lakers bring back Alex Caruso?
One of the important reasons that Lakers fans miss Caruso is the heart and enthusiasm that he displayed on both ends of the court. Having an elite wing defender gave the Lakers the opportunity to win an NBA title. However, the team was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs next year, urging the management to move on from Caruso.
Upon noticing his most recent performance against Kevin Durant, many fans believe that the Lakers should engage in a trade that brings Caruso back to Los Angeles, “lakers need him back asap.”

We can certainly understand why fans feel this way. In the game against Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns, Caruso held KD to just 1\7 shooting from the floor. He also forced 2 turnovers and had 1 block.

Unfortunately for Caruso, his team was unable to stop the Suns as a whole and ended up losing after a dramatic overtime segment with a final score of 115-116.
Since KD ended the game having scored more than 25 points, there is no denying that the Bulls struggled to guard him collectively. However, Caruso managed to do a splendid job individually and earned attention from his former team. We now look forward to seeing if the Lakers find a way to bring him back in the near future.
