Jordan Poole has emerged as quite an entertaining character in the NBA recently. Besides all the chaos and destruction that happens on the court, fans love to dive into a bit of drama. Last season, Poole’s life on and off the court was nothing short of dramatic. Some argue that whatever happened around him also affected his ability to play consistently. This ultimately led the Golden State Warriors to trade him.
Earlier this year, a rumor spread stating that the former NBA Champion went out on a date with rapper Ice Spice. The award-winning musician is currently one of the biggest artists around and it is quite evident that she grabs a lot of male attention as well. Jordan allegedly took her out on an extravagant date and spent a whopping $500,000 on her. The story went viral when rapper Cam’Ron brought it up on his podcast.

“Jordan Poole, you spent $500,000 on an Ice Spice date. You’re a munch and you’re playing like a f***ing munch. This is not you from last year, bro. Go back to Milwaukee and figure it the f*** out and get back in the playoffs, ’cause you look crazy,” Cam’Ron said. At the time of these comments, Jordan Poole was struggling to perform for the Warriors. This was what crippled the Warriors while Stephen Curry was injured and why they couldn’t defend their title successfully.
Jordan Poole denied taking Ice Spice on an extravagant date
Jordan Poole is currently trying to start over in Washington. He was traded to the Wizards in exchange for Chris Paul who was shipped from the Phoenix Suns for Bradley Beal. Poole has been performing very decently averaging 18.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Unfortunately, these numbers are a slight step down from last season as he averaged 20.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
While he looks forward to a new life, TMZ managed to capture an exchange between him and a young fan. Jordan was blatantly asked if there was any truth behind the rumors regarding his extravagant date with Ice Spice, and he replied, “Definitely not, definitely cap.” So it turns out, all of it was simply fake news.

Interestingly, the rumors claimed that Jordan Poole allegedly bought her clothes from designer companies. And as per The RapTV on X, he bought her a Mercedes Maybach Truck as well. These rumors surfaced shortly after he inked an extension with the Warriors in 2022. He signed a $128 million four-year deal which now belongs to the Wizards until 2027.
