This has been quite a dramatic NBA season for James Harden. As many fans will be aware, the 10x NBA All-star stirred up quite a lot of attention after accusing the Philadelphia 76ers president of being a liar. He went on to reiterate his point by publicly announcing that he would no longer be associated with Daryl Morey.
Harden has been doing a lot of this from China. He has clearly gone there to spend some time in his long offseason. Since the NBA has good connections with China, it is no surprise that the 76ers star was well-received by the basketball community of the region.
With that being said, fans should certainly want to know more about what Harden has been doing in China and his reasons for being there. We should take a closer look and find out more about the subject.
James Harden does a cartwheel to celebrate sales of the “J-Harden Wines” in China
NBA players have several reasons to travel to international destinations. While many of those reasons are basketball-focused, Harden has also used this opportunity to expand his business. It is growing common for NBA stars to find other avenues to make money.
In Harden’s case, that would be the promotion and sales of his wine “J-Harden Wines.” Just as Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler promotes his coffee brand, Harden has done the same for his wine brand, making multiple posts on social media as well.

As we can tell from the latest video, Harden was spotted celebrating after his “J-Harden Wines” sold out instantly in China. In fact, he was so happy that he did a cartwheel. Since Harden has built up a reputation for being out of shape, this caught NBA fans off guard.
One can only imagine what is going on in the mind of the Philalphia 76ers star at the moment. Interestingly, he recently called out Daryl Morey, the 76ers President, and accused him of being a liar. Harden also declared that he would never engage in business with Morey.
In any case, we are glad to see that Harden is having a good time in China. He certainly looks unfazed publicly considering all the talk that he has generated among the media and fans. We look forward to seeing how his situation is going to unfold for the upcoming 2023-2024 NBA season.
