The rising star, Brandon Miller of the Charlotte Hornets, is gearing up for his NBA debut and is focused on establishing a name for himself. Michael Jordan, the team’s former main owner, just sold his share for an astounding $3 billion. When asked about his remarks on basketball great Michael Jordan, Brandon Miller, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft, said he stood by what he said and had no regrets.
Miller was questioned about how the Hornets’ choice of him as the No. 2 overall choice was influenced by his refusal to compromise on the GOAT while he was a guest on Podcast P with Paul George. “I think [trash-talking Jordan] kind of showed another side of me,” Miller responded to the question.

The 20-year-old also described his trash-talking tactics, stating, “If you start with me, Imma finish it.” In the case of Jordan at the pre-draft exercise, Miller stated, “He started it”.
“I don’t really know who that guy is… but off the court you know after the workout, I’m like, ‘Oh, what’s going on MJ?’ You know, nice to meet you…take a picture. I was a fan. In between the lines, I don’t know who that is,” Miller went on while explaining if he sees Jordan in the gym.
Brandon Miller expressed his desire to dunk on another basketball great, LeBron James
Brandon Miller mentioned dunking on everyone who stood under the rim at one point in the must-see podcast episode. Soon after, the 6-foot-9 power forward stated his intention to dunk on LeBron James. Miller claims that if the King isn’t paying attention, he’ll catch him on a putback dunk.
Brandon Miller told PG, “I’d catch Bron slippin… I think I’d catch him off on a putback dunk. Sometime, he’s lurking down there and not really paying attention.” Miller has yet to play his first NBA minutes and has already enraged fans with his actions, such as trash-talking MJ and wanting to dunk on LeBron. The 20-year-old was one of seven rookies who chose James as their favorite player to dunk on in the NBA.

Even though Miller has yet to see regular-season action, the 20-year-old forward is already demonstrating his bravado by picking the Hornets to reach the NBA Finals. Miller is coming off a stellar season at Alabama, where he averaged 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
