Will Shai Gilgeous-Alexander regret his most recent actions directed toward Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors? As many NBA fans should be aware, SGA is a young and upcoming star currently playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team has gotten off to a good start this season and holds a record of 11 wins and 4 losses, giving them the 3rd spot in the Western Conference.
The OKC Thunder are currently on a 6 game winning streak and two of their wins came by defeating Steph and the Warriors in back-to-back games. As a result, Shai was clearly feeling good about himself and took to social media. He made a post filled with clips of him scoring over or stopping Steph and seized the attention of the basketball community.

Andre Iguodala is a former NBA player best known for his time alongside Curry and the Golden State Warriors. He made quite an interesting statement in response to the post made by SGA. With that being said, let us take a closer look and find out more.
Andre Iguodala advises Shai Gilgeous-Alexander against taunting Stephen Curry
When Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made an Instagram post following his victory over the Golden State Warriors, fans instantly recognized that he was taking a direct shot at and taunting Stephen Curry. Although some might admire his actions and the spirit of rivalry displayed, Iguodala believes that SGA has awoken a sleeping giant in Steph Curry and could potentially regret his actions.
“I love the competitive spirit, but he just might have woke up a sleeping giant.”

At the moment, the OKC Thunder are positioned much better than the Golden State Warriors. However, we are just around 15 games into the NBA season and have a lot of basketball left to play. The questions regarding their rivalry will emerge once again if both teams end up matching up in the Western Conference playoffs.
Can Steph and the Warriors go further than the OKC Thunder this season?
Although the OKC Thunder have the better record at the moment and have clearly started the season better than the Warriors, they are not expected by many NBA experts to go deeper in the NBA playoffs. Especially when compared to the 2022 NBA champions.
Draymond Green missed both their games against the OKC Thunder and Steph was just coming off a knee injury. Therefore, losing two games in a row to the Thunder shouldn’t alarm their fan base too greatly. If SGA and Stephj matchup in the playoffs for a 7 game series, we are bound to see if there is any truth to the words spoken by Andre Iguodala.
