Phoenix Suns fans must certainly be disappointed upon hearing the latest injury status of Bradley Beal, As many members of the basketball community should be aware, the Suns managed to acquire Beal in a trade this offseason. In return, they traded away their veteran point guard Chris Paul.
By bringing Beal onto the roster, Phoenix dramatically increased its chances of winning an NBA championship this season. After all, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal are a certified Big 3 and have more than enough talent to go all the way.
Although fans would undoubtedly want to see the Beal on the court for the Suns on a consistent basis, the latest injury update reveals the opposite.
Phoenix Suns’ Bradley Beal played just 5 minutes before sustaining an ankle injury
This season has not gone as planned for the Phoenix Suns. After having played 25 games of the 2023-2024 NBA season so far, the team currently holds a record of 13 wins and 12 losses. Given the amount of star power on the roster, there is no denying that this is a slow start to the season.
Unforuntealy, Beal was unable to get through even the first quarter of the game. With around 7 minutes remaining, Bradley rose to shoot the ball but ended up rolling his ankle upon landing. These kinds of injuries are quite common in the NBA.

Since Beal had already missed multiple weeks before finally making his return to the court, fans are quite devastated that he is already injured and will be missing from action in the near future. The basketball community remains unconvinced that the Suns have what it takes to get healthy, salvage this season, and make a deep playoff push that results in an NBA title.
In order for that to happen, all 3 Suns stars will need to play in at least 20 games together and build chemistry. If they are unable to do so, it is highly unlikely for Phoenix to win a championship this season.
