Jayson Tatum is a star for the Boston Celtics and has been the team’s focal point ever since being drafted into the league. As fans who have been following the NBA for years will know, Tatum has managed to make the NBA playoffs almost every single year after coming to the NBA.

Jayson Tatum attended Chaminade College Preparatory School
To those who do not know, Jayson Tatum is from St. Louis Missouri, and attended high school at a place called Chaminade College Preparatory School. If the name isn’t a big enough hint, Chaminade was an independent school with a heavy focus on Christianity and practiced Roman Catholicism. Not only was it where Tatum completed his high school, but Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal also finished his high schooling there.
Tatum wasn’t all that good during his first year in high school. He averaged 13,3 points and 6.4 rebounds. His game grew rapidly as he took the next step. During his sophomore year, JT averaged 25.9 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. He put up quite a few impressive performances and even managed to carry his team all the way to the Peach Jam Finals. However, they ended up losing there despite him putting up 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
JT soon committed to attending Duke University and developed his game furthermore. During his time with Duke, Tatum had multiple 40-point games and proved that he was a star that was ready to compete in the NBA. A little while later, he was selected by the Boston Celtics with the 3rd pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has proven himself to be a worthy star in the league.
