NASCAR driver Cody Ware was recently arrested on some extremely serious charges. On April 10, Ware was taken into custody by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. Has Cassidy Novkov left Cody Ware amid legal trouble?
Cody Ware had quite a few pictures of Cassidy Novkov on his Instagram profile. However, in recent hours, Cody has removed pictures with his girlfriend Cassidy. Hence, it has sparked rumors of the couple possibly splitting after Ware was arrested on some serious charges. According to a report from The Sun, Ware and Novkov started seeing each other in November 2021.

However, their first official post together on Instagram came in the same month of 2021 as well. While not much information is available on Cassidy, The Sun reports that she is currently working in California as a veterinary technician.
She got her degree from California State Polytechnic University at Humboldt and St. George’s University. Although Novkov and Ware have seemingly dated each other for more than a year, their professions are not connected in any way.
The real reason behind Cody Ware’s arrest
As previously mentioned, Ware was taken into custody in North Carolina this past Monday. In their official statement, NASCAR revealed the reason why Cody was arrested. Cody is currently under investigation for felony charges of inflicting serious injury after strangulation and misdemeanor assault on a female. However, at present, there is no report on who the alleged victim is.

Cody Ware was later released on Monday afternoon for a bond of $3,000. The 27-year-old will have his day in court next month on May 1. Matt Crafton filled in as his substitute and finished in the 34th position due to an engine failure.
