Jake Paul wants Nate Diaz next
Nate Diaz is expected to make his UFC return against #3 ranked welterweight contender Leon Edwards in a five-round co-main event at UFC 262. It will be the first time in the history of the promotion that a co-main event will go down for five rounds. Nate Diaz is returning to the Octagon after more than 15 months away from the Octagon.

Diaz was last seen against Jorge Masvidal back in October of 2020 for the symbolic “BMF” belt. He lost the bout via Doctor Stoppage in the third round. Diaz has not competed since then and will be making his Octagon return in what is potentially a #1 contender’s fight for the UFC’s welterweight championship.

Diaz and Jake made headlines after the Stockton Slugger rained down on the YouTuber for his comments on Conor’s wife. Diaz took to Twitter and slammed Paul for his foul-mouth language on Conor’s wife Dee Devlin. Jake Paul is hugely popular owing to his successful YouTube channel. The YouTuber has taken the sporting world by storm, and the world of boxing is expected to similar match-ups in the near future.
Nate Diaz feels that a possible bout inside the boxing ring is inevitable, however, he would like to keep his focus on mixed martial arts right now. While Diaz has not denied a potential stint inside the boxing ring, it looks like it will be a while before we see him inside the boxing ring.
