Khamzat Chimaev was back in action as he took on Kevin Holland in a five-round UFC 279 co-main event fight that took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. There was a lot of drama in the build-up of this PPV as there was a backstage brawl between Chimaev and Holland.
Besides, The Borz was slated to fight in the main event against Nate Diaz but the UFC had to book a new fight after he missed weight by a significant margin. However, Chimaev didn’t let this affect his performance as he showed his class and submitted Holland in the first round of the fight.

Kevin Holland almost escaped the submission attempt but Chimaev was quick to reposition and locked in another d’arce submission after which Holland tapped out.
