Floyd Mayweather has come under a lot of scrutiny from fans after his comments on American rapper Diddy’s sexual assault allegations.
Sean Combs, aka Diddy, is an accused in multiple cases of sexual misconduct, with the last of the four lawsuits against him accusing the music mogul of gang ra*e and sex trafficking. In other lawsuits, he has also been accused of revenge p**n.
Floyd Mayweather’s words at the severity of the charges against Diddy did not sit well with a lot of fans, who took to social media to share their thoughts.
What did Floyd Mayweather say about Diddy’s sexual assault allegations?
Diddy has been accused of assault in the past on numerous occasions. In 2019, Diddy was accused by his then-girlfriend Gina Hyunh, who alleged that he threw a shoe at her and dragged her by her hair. In a recent appearance on The Pivot Podcast, Mayweather shared his thoughts on the allegations surrounding Diddy.
“I am not going to speak anything bad about P.Diddy. He is still a black man; mistakes happen. I can’t say if it is or if it’s not a mistake, but things happen in life. And P Diddy’s business is P Diddy’s business.” “My take on it is, it’s none of my business.” Mayweather further added.

The story behind Diddy at Floyd Mayweather’s club
Floyd Mayweather and P Diddy got into a bit of a beef almost five years ago. The boxing legend took a dislike to the fact that P Diddy wanted to enter his club for free and even sent out a message on social media indirectly dissing P Diddy for requesting a free pass.
“Why are you tripping around spending $20 or $50 to get into strip clubs? If you are really getting money like that, you aren’t tripping on $20 or $50; it’s just a drop in the bucket. I got a staff, I got employees, I got to take care. And if I let everybody in for free, I be out of business.” Mayweather said in the video, which many believe was a response to Diddy.
While we haven’t heard much of Floyd and Diddy in recent times, fans must be aware how Diddy used to be a massive fan of Mayweather and even attended his super-fight against Conor McGregor back in 2017, playing a key role in the promotion and marketing.
In the past, Floyd Mayweather has partied with the likes of P Diddy and 50 Cent on several occasions. However, the relationship has soured in recent times. Be that as it may, Mayweather’s decision not to condemn the allegations against Diddy because he is probably “black” and “mistakes” happen is undoubtedly alarming.
