Jorge Masvidal reveals his intentions on squashing his beef with Covington
The BMF champion and long time UFC contender Jorge Masvidal is adamant that he will never squash his beef with Colby Covington no matter what goes down in their main event welterweight contest at the UFC 272 event in Las Vegas.
At the Wednesday’s media day Masvidal was asked if he would be willing to be friends with Covington following UFC 272. With his usual tone Masvidal told the reporters that he has no intentions of being friends with Covington and warns Covington to keep his distance following their fight.
Masvidal said, “He would never dare [shake my hand]. He wouldn’t get close to me in any circumstances or anything like that. He wouldn’t put himself at a chance where I can end his ass again, especially because he’s talked about my kids. He’s not gonna shake my hand under no circumstances.”
It seems like Jorge Masvidal is eagerly waiting to get in the cage with Colby Covington and put all the animosity to end. But it remains to be seen that whether Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington will bury their hatchet after UFC 272.
