The Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the Formula 1 World Championship for the third time in a row in Qatar, wrapping up a season that was defined by his overwhelming dominance on the track.
As he fought the Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton valiantly to the very end in Abu Dhabi, his first-ever championship victory in 2021 got caught in controversy. A staggering 15 victories out of 22 race wins earned him the second title in 2022.
In the very recent, Qatar Grand Prix, the Dutch driver clinched his third grand victory on Saturday post the spectacular sprint race. He shares this achievement with his father-in-law, who is also an ex-Formula 1 driver, Nelson Piquet.
Verstappen’s accomplishments do not seem to have an end, which raises the question of whether he is the youngest driver who could achieve such a feat. The answer is no.
Looking back at a great weekend and an incredible season so far 🙌 Very proud and grateful to be part of this. We will enjoy this moment, recharge the batteries and be ready for Austin #KeepPushing pic.twitter.com/7cDiqzfeF3

Although it has been a couple of days since Max turned 26, he could not break this record which is held by the former Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel.
The German driver was only 25 years old when he nabbed his third championship win back in 2012. This happened at the Brazilian Grand Prix where he fought off then Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso.

Red Bull’s star driver had a phenomenal season, winning ten straight races from Miami in May to Singapore recently. He also broke Vettel’s longstanding record at the Italian Grand Prix.
After maintaining a winning streak for a large chunk of the season, Verstappen faced a major setback at the Singapore Grand Prix where he failed to qualify let alone secure a podium on the race day. Nevertheless, that did not stop him from achieving his third grand win.

Max Verstappen is one of the drivers in the sport, having won three consecutive world championships. He joins iconic drivers like Vettel, Hamilton, Schumacher, Fangio, and others who achieved this triumph.
Jack Brabham, Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna, and Jackie Stewart are just a few of the notable drivers who compete in this category.
Even after the name and fame he has earned for himself, Verstappen does not believe or appreciate the title of “greatest sportsman of all time“ and thinks it is “stupid“.
He continues to captivate the world with each race, setting new records and moving closer to greatness in Formula 1. Verstappen’s successful career will go down as one of the greatest in the history of Formula 1.
