SUMMARY
- Charles Leclerc fumbles the most obvious superhero comparison, leading to an awkward moment.
- The Monegasque desired embracing this DC character's superpowers.
Just like every other kid, Charles Leclerc and the rest of the grid grew up watching superheroes and villains fighting each other till the end and the hero rising out of it having beaten the villain. However, all these superheroes had a special superpower that drew the kids in and made them wish to be just like them someday.
While it may never be possible to earn those superpowers, Leclerc has one that he wishes he could have. However, his answer could leave many confused. As the Monegasque prepares to join Lewis Hamilton for the 2025 season and spend his last season with Carlos Sainz, the race-winner has declared another wish he wants to come true.
Charles Leclerc confuses between Batman and Superman
Charles Leclerc has always talked about his enjoyment of superheroes and supervillains. However, when he was asked who would he want to be, his answer left many confused and laughing at the Monegaque. Every kid wishes they could be super strong like the Hulk or as smart as Tony Stark to make an Iron Man suit, but for Leclerc, it was quite different.
The race-winner wished to become Superman so he could have the ability to fly. Nevertheless, his answer is quite the opposite. He was asked during an interview who his favorite superhero was and why. To this, the Ferrari driver responded with, “Batman. Probably Batman because he can fly so I wish I could fly” The driver seemed to have confused Batman with Superman.

The DC universe involves Batman and Superman, with Superman having the ability to fly while Batman has his Batmobile to rush to save the day. Nevertheless, his answer became a rather entertaining moment for the fans. Meanwhile, Leclerc stays unaware of the entertainment he has caused with his silly confusion between the two great superheroes.
However, Leclerc’s answer may just save him if his wish comes true this season. Considering Hamilton will be joining the Monza team soon, the race-winner is only hoping it doesn’t get too awkward between him and Sainz or he may just need that flying superpower as soon as possible.
The comic-inspired helmet that reminds Leclerc of late Jules Bianchi
Charles Leclerc’s love for comics and superheroes has only grown deeper as time passed. The driver enjoyed watching the shows and reading the comics as a kid and grew up wishing to be a superhero too someday. While he may have become just that for Ferrari, he decided to pay a tribute not only to his helmet when he was karting but also to his late godfather, Jules Bianchi.
When Leclerc was only in karting and making his way up in motorsports, the driver had a helmet that he designed himself to match the spider webs of Spiderman. Soon after losing his godfather and joining Ferrari, making Bianchi’s long-time wish come true, the Monegasque paid tribute to him with a similar helmet during the 2021 season.
After 19 years I’m bringing back my first design from when I started karting near here. I remember when I drew the design Spider-Man was on TV and I tried to make it look like his web. I’ve got many great memories from this part of my life, it will be special wearing it again ❤️ pic.twitter.com/6pdnleTDEY

The vice-champion had a similar yellow and blue helmet with spider webs all over it and ‘CL’ on the back. He posted on Twitter, “I remember when I drew the design Spider-Man was on TV and I tried to make it look like his web.” And ended it by mentioning the helmet being a great part of his life and how many memories are attached to it.
