Dwayne Johnson is stirring up controversy online once more by speculating that Marvel and DC might collaborate in the future. Johnson has been throwing fan bombs all over the place at the premiere of his newest movie, Black Adam.
Johnson continued by talking about the potential for a Marvel and DC crossover. “Well I’m always an optimist,” Johnson adds. “I would like to think we would see that. Because my philosophy is anything can get done. Let’s start at the end goal and if the end goal is to have some sort of cross-over that can be compelling, smart, cool for the fans but then let’s underscore that.”
He also went on to say, “Let’s get a temperature gauge. If they would like to see something like that. And if they do, then let’s create it. So that’s how I think. I am DC through and through. In the spirit of growing out the DC universe, I’m here to help in any way I can.”
Making peace, praising Marvel, and clearing the way for future cooperation… Maybe DC movies will actually enter a new age in the future.

Black Adam is a Game-Changer for DCEU
The initial reviews for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam have come in, and they are largely positive. On October 21, the actor will formally make his DC debut. The highly anticipated picture was made possible by Warner Bros.’s ongoing film delays. The actor’s transformation into a superhero has fans excited.

In response to the disappointment of several previous DC movies, many fans on Twitter stated that Johnson is going to “transform” and “rescue” the DC Extended Universe.
Some fans think the upcoming movie might contribute to the DCEU becoming one of the most well-known movie series in the world, comparable to its MCU cousin. Dwayne Johnson was hailed as the “savior of the DCEU” by one fan.
I’ve never been a fan of the DC Extended Universe; the films have been underwhelming. One of the strongest characters in comic books comes from DC, and when he or she is portrayed well, the DC Extended Universe has the potential to surpass the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of popularity. Fans are hoping that Warner Bros. and DC will take advantage of the momentum created by the addition of Black Adam and the Justice Society of America to the DCEU and begin producing quality movies soon.
