Andy Murray has always had expectations around him since he became a professional. The 36-year-old had carried Britain’s tennis hopes for a decade and a half. Now with a metal hip, the former world number one still gives 100 percent whenever he is on the court. Murray has had his own battles over the years and his loved ones have pushed him through the tough times.
Murray is married to Kim Sears and has four children with her. The couple got married in 2015 and had been dating for almost a decade before tying the knot. The 3 time Grand Slam winner is grateful to his wife as she takes care of everything while he is away on tour. Kim also accompanies her husband in many matches and was recently seen at Wimbledon.
A challenge to all tennis players and fans… The 💯 volley challenge. There was no bickering during the filming of the video 🙄, although I think the last volley was aimed at my head… I can’t be the only one that wants to see Rog and Mirka hitting a few balls together…🎾 pic.twitter.com/c0lMnNuSSQ

Murray is 7 months older than his wife and met her at the 2005 US Open. The pair fell in love within a year and started appearing together in most of Murray’s matches. They got engaged in 2014 and married the next year in Scotland. With six people in the family, Kim has managed to take care of the kids most of the time while managing her career.
How Kim Sears motivated Andy Murray to go on?
Kim was brought up in a tennis family, as her father, Nigel Sears, had coached players like Daniela Hantuchova and Ana Ivanovic. Nigel was also a professional player who later turned to coaching, Kim became used to the schedule her father was having, which in turn is helping her now. Kim did not go into the tennis profession and pursued art at the University of Sussex.
Apart from painting, Kim also takes care of Cromlix, a five-star hotel in Perthshire that is owned by the couple. Murray has said that his wife has been sacrificing a lot to make sure everything stays in place. She was also the main supporter when Murray was struggling with his hip and spoke about retirement.
When Murray’s rankings fell, it was almost the end for the British legend, but his wife did not let him down. Kim made sure he got back and hit the courts again. Murray has achieved fame for his never-give-up spirit, and he knows who to give credit for it.
