David Benavidez tests positive for coronavirus – Out of Jose Uzcategui bout on Aug. 28

Jose Uzcategui is a former IBF super-middleweight champion. After dropping the title to Caleb Plant back in June of 2019, Jose made a triumphant return to the ring with a KO win over Roberto Valdez. However, he would go on to lose his next bout via unanimous decision against Lionell Thompson.

Be that as it may, he made jumped back to the winning column with back-to-back stoppage wins over Josue Obando and Jaime Hernandez to earn the shot at the title once again.
