Charles Leclerc is the middle child with 2 brothers. The elder one, Lorenzo, and the younger one, Arthur. Charles is very close with his younger brother who is also a racing driver who competes in Formula 2. He was born on October 16, 1997, in Monte Carlo, Monaco to parents Herve Leclerc and Pascale Leclerc.
His father was also a racing driver who competed in Formula 3. Herve passed away in 2017 just before Charles won the feature race at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Formula 2. When Herve was on his deathbed, Charles told him that he had signed a contract with Ferrari to be in Formula 1.
This was not true, but Charles wanted his father to be in peace. However, Charles did sign a contract with Ferrari for the 2019 season. Charles’ contract is the largest Ferrari has ever given to a driver. The contract will see him drive for the team until the end of the 2024 season.
Charles Leclerc is not currently married. He was in a relationship with Charlotte Siné, an architect in Monte Carlo. The couple split after the end of the 2022 season.
Charles Leclerc was very close to former Formula 1 driver, Jules Bianchi. Charles was a Godson to Jules. Bianchi raced for the Marussia F1 team, he was supposed to be a very exciting prospect for the Ferrari team. But during the Japanese Grand Prix in 2014, Jules had a major accident, in which he suffered major injuries, which eventually took his life. He was the first Formula 1 driver to die from injuries sustained during a race since Ayrton Senna in 1994.

Charles was raised as a catholic. His family was religious and had beliefs. However, Leclerc has said during an interview that, he is someone who believes in god, but not someone who would go to Church and pray.
Leclerc drives for Ferrari till the end of the 2024 season and after that, he will be a wildcard. He has what it takes to become the next champion for Ferrari.
