The UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya is going to defend his title against Marvin Vettori in the main event of UFC 263 as per sources.
Israel Adesanya fought Jan Blachowicz at UFC 259 and it seems he wants a quick turnaround after a failed attempt to win the UFC light heavyweight title. Israel Adesanya is one of the most active champions in UFC and it was expected that he would fight atleast one more time in 2021.

However, the fans did not expect the opponent to be Marvin Vettori. Vettori is on an impressive win streak in the middleweight division, but Robert Whittaker deserves the title shot without any questions.
But, it has to be considered that Whittaker fought Kelvin Gastelum in the main event of UFC Vegas 24. And it’s reported that he has turned down the offer to fight again on June 12. As per reports, Whittaker believes less than two months is too quick for him after the fight against Gastelum.
