Brandon Miller is one of many NBA prospects looking to participate in the 2023 NBA Draft. As we all know, the NBA Draft is a process through which 60 players are chosen by the 30 teams across the league via two rounds. The best players with projections of a high ceiling end up getting selected within the first few picks of the draft.
With that being said, fans should certainly want to know where Brandon stands when compared to his peeps and what his numbers so far look like. Therefore, we should take a closer look and find out more about how good he actually is.
Brandon Miller is projected to be a top 3 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft
Despite the controversial criminal activities that Miller was associated with in the past, he is still expected to be a top 3 pick in the 2023 NBA draft. Many draft prediction lists have him as the 3rd pick, just behind Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson.
To those who do not know, Miller was linked to Darius Miles after providing him with the gun used in a shootout. Since Miller claimed to not know why Darius asked him for a gun, no charges were placed against him and it appears that this incident didn’t affect his value in the 2023 NBA Draft class.
Brandon Miller certainly has incredible potential and could translate his skills to the NBA. He played college basketball for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He has averaged 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in the 37 college games he has played so far. Miller has also proven to be quite efficient at shooting for a player of his size.
Brandon shot 43% from the field, 38.4% from the three-point line, and 85.9% from the three-point line. These numbers are quite impressive considering that he is listed at 6’9 and is almost as big as an NBA center. Since he is only 20 years old, it is quite possible that he grows even further and is yet to enter his adult body.
In any case, Miller is one among many young athletes looking to change the direction and trajectory of their lives by joining the NBA. We wish him and all the upcoming 2023 NBA Draft prospects the best of luck.
