The Problem Child believes that the idea of him fighting Nate Diaz is huge and he is ready for that anytime. Earlier, after Nate Diaz lost to Leon Edwards at UFC 263, Jake Paul took the social media to declare that he will knock out Nate after Jake is done with Tryon Woodley. It appears like Paul still has the hope to fight Nate one day.
In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Jake was asked that since Nate has only one fight remaining in his UFC contract if he wants to fight Jake will he be willing to do that?
As expected, the Problem Child didn’t hesitate to share his intentions for fighting Nate. Jake told:
“I have no idea if that’s Nate’s intention. I think that’s a huge fight between us and I am ready for that anytime, anyplace”
However, this is not the first time Jake is speaking about a fight against Nate Diaz. Earlier, Paul has spoken on ESPN that beating Diaz would help him set up a fight against Conor McGregor. But, at present Jake feels that a boxing fight with Nate would be more interesting than fighting the Notorious.
“I think Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul’s fight is probably more interesting than Jake Paul vs drunk Conor McGregor right now,” Paul added.
What does Nate Diaz think of Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz:
Though Diaz has not responded to Jake’s recent comments. But, he has previously answered to the idea of him fighting Jake Paul. When Nate was asked about a possible boxing match against Paul brothers he responded “They are all options”
Moreover, Nate is now looking for big money fights which Jake can give him. So, there is a fair chance for the bout to happen.
As of now, Nate is busy bantering with #1 lightweight Dustin Poirier. The UFC stars appeared to agree to a fight on Twitter where Diaz proposed Poirier for a meeting at middleweight. On the other hand, Jake is getting ready to fight the former UFC champion, Tryon Woodley. So, the match-up between Nate and Jake has a lot of time.
